We at London Film & Television festival have one simple mission, to connect and promote film makers from around the world no matter what their background is.
It doesn't matter whether you are a seasoned professional or shooting your first ever film, or even writing your first ever script, we accept you all and welcome you with open arms.
Our submissions are judge by a diverse selection of heavily experienced industry professionals and also individuals who just love films. We give your projects the respect they deserve in our judging process because after-all you've given them you time, money, passion and so much more.

We live in the golden age of television, and streamers, but you can't forget where you came from so we celebrate the traditional story telling formats of cinema and television whilst we also embrace the newer mediums of streamer and online distribution whether it be Netflix, Youtube, Vimeo or any others you can think of.

The script is where is all starts, whether it's a passion project that has taken years to develop or just a moment of inspiration they all count in our eyes. And this is why we want to celebrate the those feature and short scripts out there no matter what the genre or subject matter.
WHAT'S IN
Here are categories open for submissions
FEATURE FILM
Features must be more than 60 minutes and are open to any genre.
TV PILOT/WEB SERIES
Projects of any duration and are accepted.
SHORT FILM
Short films must be less than 45 minutes.
STUDENT SHORT FILM
Student short films should be less than 45 minutes.
DOCUMENTARY FILM
Documentary films must be less than 45 minutes.
(Those over 45 minutes compete in the "Feature Film" category)
STUDENT DOCUMENTARY FILM
Student documentary films must be under 45 minutes.
ANIMATION FILM
Films must be more than 10 minutes.
SHORT ANIMATION FILM
Films must be less than 10 minutes.
STUDENT ANIMATION FILM
Films must be less than 10 minutes.
MUSIC VIDEO
Projects of any duration are accepted.
FEATURE SCRIPT
Scripts must be more than 60 pages.
